My neighbors like to spread poop. the smell travels inside my house and I have to endure it for days.

I feel like taking a crap on their front porch to see how they like it.

Hammer, I feel for ya! You would think your neighbors would have the same odor wafting inside their own home but apparently it doesn't bother them. Much like people who have dogs who bark constantly.

On the outskirts of my town there is a hog confinement building and the odor near there is awful. There are homes near it too and I don't understand how they can stand it!

Oh yeah.

I don't buy poop, myself. I even did a little post about Volunteer Crap once.

OTOH...I do compost. Every now and then - very, very rarely - it'll have a bad day. See, I don't compost kitchen stuff in the open, I use a tighly closed bin for that. Branches and leaves, yard trimmings, is way far my major source of stuff, and it never stinks.

The good news is? Every single one of my neighbors by the corner of my yard where the kitchen bin is, they're all composters too!

Lucky, huh?
